Loft 62
New York, NY
Within an existing five bedroom loft in a converted Tribeca warehouse, Robert Siegel Architects designed a new entrance foyer and guest room, renovated the master bedroom and bathroom, three children’s rooms, play area, and kitchen.
The design improves the quality of discrete portions of the loft by reconfiguring extremely small areas for maximum impact. It integrates modern materials and precise craftsmanship within the historic, rough-hewn timber framed structure.
We completed detailed research to meet the client’s programmatic needs and prepared options that used different material palettes and detailing strategies. This provides enough variety to maintain the existing loft's idiosyncratic character while creating a consistently high level of detail and craftsmanship.
